Assistant Project Manager | Quantity Surveying | Cost Planning | BOQ & Estimation | Project Controls
I help transform construction complexity into strategic project and cost decisions through quantity surveying, cost management, estimation, and project controls. Currently serving as an Assistant Project Manager at Turner & Townsend, I support the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects by driving cost management, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and performance-focused execution.
Prior to this, at Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, I specialized in CAD and Revit-based Quantity Takeoff, BOQ preparation, lender-grade technical due diligence, cost estimation, and project analysis for high-rise and large-scale developments across India. Leveraging a combination of technical expertise and data-driven insights, I consistently focused on improving project efficiency, optimizing costs, and delivering value throughout the project lifecycle.
My core competencies include AutoCAD, Revit, Advanced Excel, Quantity Takeoff, BOQ Development, Cost Estimation, Technical Audits, Cost Management, and Project Controls. I am also continuously enhancing my expertise in industry-leading estimation and documentation platforms such as Bluebeam and CostX to further strengthen project delivery and cost management capabilities.
Numbers that reflect real project pressure — not estimates, not projections.
My path into Cost Consulting & Project Management began on the drawing board — learning how buildings are designed before understanding how they're priced. That dual literacy, reading structure and reading budgets, became my core professional asset. I hold a B.Tech in Civil Engineering (81%, First Division) from Goel Institute of Technology & Management, Lucknow — Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.
At Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, I served as an independent Cost Consultant embedded on behalf of lender institutions. My mandate was to verify project costs, flag deviations, and ensure capital disbursed matched construction delivered. For clients such as Godrej Properties and M3M India, approximations were not acceptable — the numbers had to be defensible.
My differentiator was methodology. I integrated Revit BIM directly into the QS workflow — extracting quantities from model geometry rather than scaling 2D drawings manually. Across 1M+ sq ft of high-rise built-up area, that approach consistently delivered ±2% cost accuracy and 25% faster turnaround compared to traditional takeoff methods.
Today, as an Assistant Project Manager at Turner & Townsend, I have expanded that foundation beyond cost assurance into project delivery and management. I work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to support planning, coordination, cost management, progress monitoring, and overall project execution. This transition has strengthened my ability to connect technical detail with strategic decision-making — ensuring that projects are not only accurately measured and costed, but also effectively managed to achieve their schedule, quality, and commercial objectives.
The combination of hands-on quantity surveying expertise, BIM-driven cost intelligence, and project management experience enables me to bridge the gap between design, cost, and execution — helping teams make informed decisions and deliver complex construction projects with greater certainty and value.
A practitioner's skill set — shaped by live project pressure, not just certification.
Credentials that back up on-site practice — from structural analysis to international project management.

9 residential towers (35–36 floors), 4M+ sq ft — structural, architectural, finishing and external development works. Also covers a school with EWS block, commercial retail building, and club house.
Executed CAD & Revit-based quantity takeoff workflows for high-rise and large-scale projects, with detailed cross-verification against extensive structural and architectural drawing sets across multiple disciplines. Maintained accurate BOQs, cost reports, variation analysis, and progress-linked documentation while ensuring traceable and revision-ready deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
Detailed BOQs, rate analysis, material take-offs, variation sheets, and cost reports for all trade packages — civil, structural, finishing, and external works. Supported lender disbursement decisions.
Prepare a contractor-ready BOQ and RFP package for SAI infrastructure facilities — in a government procurement environment where ambiguous scope directly leads to inflated bids and post-award disputes.
Detailed quantity takeoff covering civil, structural, and ancillary works. BOQ items developed with unambiguous descriptions and defined measurement methodology. Coordinated with senior consultants to align BOQ with technical specifications.
Complete RFP documentation enabling transparent tendering. Structured BOQ established a cost control baseline for execution, preventing variation loading from the outset and supporting audit-ready procurement.
Multiple public buildings under Smart City Mission: Hospital, Administrative Building, Stadium, and other civic infrastructure. Prepared and reviewed 50+ architectural and structural drawings under senior expert guidance.
Developed 3D BIM models using Revit Architecture for all major buildings. Improved design coordination and clash detection. Participated in active site visits to verify drawing compliance and monitor construction progress.
BIM-derived quantities fed directly into project cost estimates. Reduced ambiguity in public procurement — where over-claiming and under-specification are primary audit risks — through model-traceable quantities.
Most QS professionals can count. The value I bring is knowing what to count, why the numbers behave the way they do — and how to communicate cost risk clearly to developers, lenders, and PMCs.
Quantities extracted through a combination of CAD-based measurement workflows and Revit model geometry — ensuring every number is accurate, traceable, auditable, and revision-ready as designs evolve.
My work at Grant Thornton is reviewed by financial institutions. The ±2% accuracy standard I maintain exists because errors have real capital consequences at scale.
Managed quantity takeoff, BOQ, and cost consulting workflows for high-rise and large-scale developments exceeding 4M+ sq ft, involving multiple towers, extensive drawing sets, and complex design coordination — without compromising accuracy or detail. Built structured estimation systems including standardized templates, rate libraries, and disciplined review processes to improve scalability, consistency, and audit readiness.
Every BOQ, report, and estimate I produce is structured for scrutiny. If a third party reviews it six months later, the methodology and assumptions are fully documented.
Whether you need independent cost validation or full pre-contract QS support — here's what I deliver.
Hybrid CAD & Revit-based quantity extraction workflow focused on accuracy, traceability, and scalable cost intelligence for high-rise and large-scale construction projects. Quantities are extracted directly from Revit models where applicable, while CAD-based measurement workflows and plugins are used for detailed drawing-based takeoff requirements.
Contractor-ready Bills of Quantities with unambiguous descriptions, IS/CPWD measurement methodology, and documented rate basis.
Design-stage cost plans that give developers a realistic financial frame before committing to full documentation expenditure.
Independent, lender-grade audits that verify project progress, cost claims, and IS/NBC specification compliance for investors and financiers.
End-to-end tendering support — from RFP documentation and bid evaluation to contract award recommendation for both government and private projects.
Retained advisory through project execution — monitoring variations, certifying interim payments, and protecting your contingency budget at every milestone.
Purpose-selected for accuracy, auditability, and professional deliverable quality.
Traditional quantity takeoff often depends entirely on manual scaling from 2D CAD or PDF drawings, which can become time-consuming, difficult to update, and prone to discrepancies when designs evolve. In my workflow, I combine CAD-based measurement methods with Revit-driven quantity extraction to improve accuracy, traceability, and efficiency on large-scale projects. Where Revit models are available, quantities are extracted directly from model geometry and linked element data, allowing faster updates and better coordination during design revisions. For drawing-based projects, I use structured CAD workflows and plugins to maintain consistency and detailed verification across disciplines. This hybrid approach helps deliver audit-ready BOQs, accurate cost reports, and dependable quantity intelligence for high-rise and lender-monitored projects where precision directly impacts cost control and decision-making.
Whether you're at concept stage and need a realistic cost plan, mid-construction and want an independent audit, or preparing a tender package — let's talk about protecting your project's financial integrity.
